It can add a sense of energy and excitement to any sound — emphasizing a searing synth solo, boosting the subs of a pulsing bass line by following MIDI notes in Relay mode, or dynamically curtailing specific harmonics on acoustic instrumentation. With its capabilities for surgical precision and extreme resonant boost, X-Filter is a surprisingly powerful creative and utilitarian tool.
